Amphibians of East Africa
The Amphibian species depicted in the gallery are mostly typical from the Eastern Arc Mountains, among them several species are still with no name (I mean new species for science). DRC, Rwanda and Ethiopia are other areas where I’ve been because of biodiversity researches. great places with unique and poorly known faunas of great conservation concerns. As you can see of some species pictured randomly in the lowlands, many of the specie in the gallery are from montane forests and grasslands, often species with restricted distribution areas and threatened by habitat loss, for more information see the website www.tanzaniaherps.org
